Current Schedule:
July 13th, 4 to 6 PM
Guest Presenter –
Miss Susan!
(Note that this
month’s workshop is being moved up to the 13th to make room for
Carnal Carnival on Sunday, July 27th). This month we’re delighted to have our own
Miss Susan giving a presentation on predicament bondage. She always gives a great demo and it should
be a fun and diabolical one this month.
As always there should be time during the second hour for practice. Bring rope and safety shears if you have
them.
August 24th, 4 to 6 PM
The Basics
We’ll cover some basic tying techniques to get you started in bondage, and as always go over safety concerns and kinds of rope and where to buy it. Bondage isn’t about knots. It’s about the placement of rope. So if you can tie your shoes you can do rope bondage. We’ll look at a basic rope cuff (a simple “one-column” tie), good ways to tie two limbs together (a simple “two-column” tie) and the always-useful spreader bar tie. There will be plenty of time during the second hour to practice or perhaps get tied up yourself.
September 28th, 4 to 6 PM
Chest Harnesses
We’ll present several basic chest harnesses that can be used in many different bondage scenes. We’ll specifically look at the bikini chest harness, the yoke chest harness and a simple Japanese-style chest harness. As always there’ll be plenty of practice time, so bring your rope and safety scissors.
October 26th, 4 to 6 PM
Shibari-Inspired
Ties
Continuing on from last month’s workshop, we’ll take a look at a few more basic Japanese-style ties and techniques, including some variations on the popular tortoise-shell harness (with the nice diamond-shaped pattern), and a few other body and chest ties.
November 23rd, 4 to 6 PM
Hogties
This month we’ll look at one of Sandra’s favorite positions - the hogtie. We’ll demonstrate several different hogtie techniques, including tying the ankles off to the wrists or, for an easier variation, tying them off to a simple chest harness. Sandra will also demonstrate one of her favorite gag techniques, using clear postal tape over mouth packing. As always bring rope and safety scissors.
December 28th, 4 to 6 PM
More with the
One-Column Tie
We’ll take a look at a useful Japanese-style technique for tying the wrists together using the one-column tie, making that familiar “box shape,” with the forearms parallel to each other. In combination with a simple chest harness we can do an easy or strict tie, depending on the mood of the moment, and use the same tie for a challenging seated cross-legged tie. Lots of fun!
January 25th, 4 to 6 PM
Decorative Bondage
This month we’ll demonstrate some less-restrictive ties and harnesses that can be worn under one’s clothing. We’ll primarily cover the Rope Corset and the Japanese-style tortoise shell (or diamond pattern) harness and some variations. The second half of the class is practice and review, with the chance to try out some new ties as the binder or bindee. Of course, no one is ever forced to participate. If you’d prefer just to observe that’s okay too.
