Threshold Academy classes, held throughout each month, strive to bring our members the most informative and fascinating personalities along with their distinctive approach to the SM/Leather/Fetish lifestyle. Prominent scene and community people present interesting, unique and innovative subjects and share their knowledge and experience. Panel discussions on a wide range of topics, as well as advanced play techniques and approaches are explored within this forum. Program topics are listed on the Calendar in the Member's Area of the website.

Academy classes can be lectures or hands-on workshop, offering a curriculum that has something for everyone. Our hands-on events feature practical training by some of the best players in our community, with topics ranging from the fundamentals of bondage and restraint up to electrical play and play piercing are offered. This is the place to learn the basics of technique, equipment, and community protocol.

We have one of the finest rope/bondage classes, which, after attending all 6 classes, you will receive a certificate indicating you've gone through training that includes safety as well as creativity and skill.

Our D/s Discussion Group, is a monthly gathering of both Threshold members and non-members who share a common interest in BDSM. They provide a pleasant, non-threatening, environment to discuss common concerns and problems and share ideas. Information on attending can be had by contacting: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Threshold also hosts a number of other educational events, such as Masters and slaves Together (MAsT), and we have begun taping "Inside the Master's Studio" -- an interview program that hosts interesting and knowledgeable guests.

Submissions (our newsletter), is published both online in the Member's Area of our website and as a hard copy delivered through the mail every month. We strive to present work by some of our club's best writers and artists, and include a comprehensive listing of community events and club news.
